Dispatch is celebrating its first anniversary with a substantial content update, a mobile release, merchandise and a live concert. The narrative superhero management game has also passed five million copies sold.
Deluxe edition adds two new ways to play
From today, owners of the Deluxe Edition receive a free update introducing Commentary Mode and Storyboard Mode. Commentary Mode adds behind-the-scenes observations from the cast and crew, while Storyboard Mode lets players experience the story alongside the game’s visual planning materials.
The modes can be used separately or activated together for a deeper look at how Dispatch was made. Players with the Standard Edition can upgrade to Deluxe for $11.

Dispatch is coming to Android and iOS
A mobile version is scheduled for Android and iOS on December 9. Its choice-driven narrative and management-sim structure are well suited to phones and tablets.
The first four episodes will be available at no cost, with the complete version offered as a $20 purchase.
Merchandise and anniversary concert
The anniversary celebration also extends beyond the game. Planned fan products include an art book, clothing, posters and a physical edition of the digital comic.
Ad Hoc Studio is also staging a live concert featuring performers from the game’s soundtrack, including Fartbarf. Ad Hoc Studio is releasing a ton of extras as part of the anniversary programme.
