After years of waiting, Grand Theft Auto 6 has entered the final stretch before its planned November release. Rockstar Games spent much of the wait revealing only occasional trailers, teasers, screenshots and delay news. This week, however, the promotional campaign accelerated with new interviews, merchandise, public events and fresh details about the game world.

Love Magazine Shares New GTA 6 Details

Gta 6 Blackwhite

Love Magazine has released several new images of GTA 6 ahead of its next issue, which will feature Jason and Lucia on the cover. The accompanying material also includes comments from writers Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern and Alexa D’Agostino about the game’s two central characters.

Gauvey-Kern says the team wanted both protagonists to be vulnerable, resilient and imperfect, with each character capable of being right, wrong and learning from the other.

D’Agostino adds that writing people with their own motivations naturally produces characters who feel imperfectly real rather than neatly constructed.

Love Magazine released a few new looks at GTA 6, giving fans another glimpse at the leads and the tone Rockstar is aiming for.

Jason And Lucia Appear In A New Brooklyn Mural

In Brooklyn, New York, artists have been painting a mural featuring Jason and Lucia. Images shared online suggest the artwork was close to completion during the week.

Rockstar Games also sent promotional packages containing Grand Theft Auto 6 merchandise. The items included stickers and a pink canvas bag, which stood out as a particularly well-made part of the package.

The box appears to match merchandise sent to some GTA content creators. The distribution is another sign that Rockstar is broadening its campaign beyond conventional trailers and screenshots.

Vice City Reaches The Miami Heat

Rockstar is partnering with the Miami Heat for a Vice City-themed event on November 18, shortly before the game’s launch. The stadium is scheduled to feature a GTA 6-inspired basketball court, while Heat players will wear new Vice City uniforms.

The team is also selling a range of GTA 6 shirts and other merchandise. One design appears to draw on a humorous Easter egg from the original Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The Miami Heat announced the promotion on pic.twitter.com/zZGGcrYyiS on October 2, 2026.

Game Informer Cover Story Adds World Details

Earlier in the week, GTA 6 appeared on the cover of Game Informer. Rockstar said the feature was available to read for free through the magazine’s app, with a print subscription also offered.

The feature included additional screenshots and information about the size and variety of the game’s setting. Rockstar has revealed that the map will contain more than 150 animal species, alongside hurricanes and tropical storms. Players will also be able to search for legendary creatures, raising the possibility that a mythical stink ape could be hiding in Leonida’s swamps. One notable omission is any visit to Disney World.

Rockstar shared the cover-story announcement on September 29, 2026, with access provided through Game Informer.

A Busy Final Run To Launch

With new character material, street-level advertising, merchandise partnerships, sports promotion and magazine coverage arriving in a single week, GTA 6’s marketing campaign is clearly gaining pace. More activity is likely before the November release as Take-Two and Rockstar prepare for one of the largest launches in modern video-game history.
