Xbox Game Pass has revealed its second group of October 2026 additions, led by Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. The acclaimed role-playing game is arriving on the service for the first time after reaching Xbox consoles earlier this year.
It is joined by The Séance of Blake Manor, a supernatural detective mystery released last October. Set in Ireland in 1897, the game follows an investigator sent to a remote hotel to find a missing woman.
A detective mystery with a ticking clock
The Séance of Blake Manor takes a more interactive approach than a conventional deduction-focused visual novel. Its fully 3D environments let players examine the hotel, while every action and question consumes time from a steadily reducing limit.
The combination may appeal to players who enjoy the spatial puzzles of Blue Prince and the forensic investigation of Return of the Obra Dinn. For more gaming and industry coverage, visit RETROCADE’s Arcade Blog.

Final Fantasy VII Remake closes out a strong RPG run
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade gives Game Pass subscribers a convenient way to catch up before Revelation arrives next spring. It also brings a year of Final Fantasy additions to a close, following the earlier inclusion of the Pixel Remasters.
For Xbox players who have not yet experienced it, the remake remains one of the standout role-playing games of the decade. Its arrival gives subscribers a substantial campaign to explore without making a separate purchase.
Other updates and departures
Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and Mouthwashing add further variety to the latter half of October. The Elder Scrolls Online is also receiving its season 2 update, Echoes of Skyrim, on October 21. The update includes two new solo dungeons.
There are no major departures announced for the next 30 days, but two Double Fine Productions classics will leave the service on October 31. Grim Fandango Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered are being removed following the studio’s split with Microsoft earlier this year.
Although these releases are designed for modern platforms, players looking to build a dedicated home gaming setup can compare RETROCADE’s arcade machines or use the Arcade Machine Buying Guide before choosing a cabinet.
