World of Warcraft: The Last Titan has been revealed as the twelfth expansion in Blizzard Entertainment’s long-running MMO. The brief BlizzCon 2026 teaser points to the final chapter of the Worldsoul Saga, with a release planned for sometime in 2027.

The announcement arrived shortly after Blizzard showed a new trailer for World of Warcraft: Midnight‘s next major update, Eclipse. Blizzard is keeping details about The Last Titan limited for now, aiming to avoid spoiling the major events still to come in Midnight.
Midnight moves towards Eclipse
During the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony, Holly Longdale, executive producer and vice president for World of Warcraft, described the year ahead as a major one for Warcraft. Game designer Ion Hazzikostas then outlined what players can expect from the upcoming Eclipse update.
A new cinematic trailer shows Xal’atath, the Worldsoul Saga’s central villain, nearly at her ultimate objective. Hazzikostas said she is only “a toe’s length away” from achieving it. He also indicated that the story will accelerate after the earlier narrative groundwork laid by The War Within and Midnight.

The Last Titan brings the war back to Warcraft
Following the Eclipse trailer, Blizzard presented a short first look at The Last Titan. Longdale said the expansion would be “putting the war back in Warcraft”, while also stressing that the studio would share very little at this stage.
Blizzard plans to reveal more about the expansion early next year, after Eclipse. The Last Titan is scheduled for release in 2027 and will serve as the third and final instalment of the Worldsoul Saga.
