BlizzCon 2026 is set to feature major updates for Blizzard’s games, including World of Warcraft. Players watching from home can join the event and earn four limited-time in-game rewards during September.
Four free World of Warcraft rewards
The BlizzCon viewing promotion runs from September 12 to September 27, with rewards delivered at different watch-time milestones. The complete reward list is:
- Two hours: 200 Trader’s Tender, the game’s in-game currency.
- Four hours: Cuddly Blue Grrgle housing decor.
- Eight hours: Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt mount.
- 12 hours: Venomous Champion’s Illustrious Banner toy.
The promotion requires 12 hours of eligible viewing to unlock all four items. No purchase is required, but your Battle.net account must be connected to the relevant streaming service before you start.
How to earn the BlizzCon drops
Players can earn the rewards through Twitch or YouTube. To check or update the connection, visit the Battle.net account settings page.
YouTube viewing period
YouTube rewards are available from September 12 at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time until September 13 at 7 p.m. Pacific Time. All required viewing must take place on the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel.
Twitch viewing period
Twitch rewards run from September 12 at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time until September 27 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Viewers can divide their watch time between eligible World of Warcraft livestreams. Look for broadcasts in the game’s Twitch category that clearly advertise drops as enabled.
The YouTube option requires watching the official channel for the full qualifying period. Twitch viewers have more flexibility, as their time can be split across any eligible World of Warcraft streams.
BlizzCon attendees have another redemption option
Players attending BlizzCon 2026 can also receive the four items by connecting their convention pass to their Battle.net account. The pass must be linked by September 18. Blizzard provides instructions for linking a BlizzCon convention pass.
