Shroud mushrooms are a useful crafting material in Enshrouded, but they are easy to overlook. Unlike the small, colourful mushrooms found in ordinary forests, these larger specimens grow inside the Shroud and must be chopped down with an axe.
Here is where to find them, how to identify them and what you can make with the harvest.

Best shroud mushroom location in Enshrouded
Shroud mushrooms grow exclusively in the Revelwood region, and they only appear in areas covered by the Shroud. One of the most reliable places to gather them is southeast of the Ancient Spire in Revelwood.
Glide down from the spire and land in the Shroud south of Gloomsbury Keep. This provides a relatively safe spot for collecting mushrooms without travelling far from a fast-travel landmark.

How to collect shroud mushrooms
Keep an eye on your Shroud timer while gathering. If enemies become a problem, or your remaining time is getting low, take the path southwest to leave the Shroud. The exit is marked by the arrow on the location map.
These mushrooms are much larger than their forest counterparts. They generally appear in groups of one to three stems and have a subtle green glow beneath their caps. Equip an axe and cut them down to collect between five and 12 shroud mushroom pieces from each harvest.

What shroud mushrooms are used for
Shroud mushrooms are a crafting resource rather than food, so they cannot be eaten. Their uses include crafting goo, alchemical base and several pieces of armour.
