Wardogs is preparing for its first public beta, giving players a chance to try Bulkhead’s upcoming first-person shooter after earlier tests were limited to invited participants. This test is open to everyone, although there is an important step for players who want the best chance of getting in.

How to join the Wardogs beta
The most direct route to guaranteed access is pre-ordering Wardogs through Steam. The listed price is $39.99, which is relatively high for an early access release. Its pre-purchase information also says that players who do not enjoy the beta can request a refund.
Players can also apply for the playtest without pre-ordering. However, Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer explained on X that pre-orders had exceeded expectations, so access from the beta sign-up pool would not be expanded as aggressively until later in the weekend. Pre-ordering is therefore the recommended option for anyone determined to play.
