UNIS has shared updates on three arcade releases: the now-available Godzilla Kaiju Drop, new content for Picture Book Land and an early look at the racing game Top Speed Legend.
Godzilla Kaiju Drop
Godzilla Kaiju Drop is a redemption title that has been testing at several Round1USA venues. Public reports indicate that it has performed strongly, and the game is now available. For readers interested in the wider redemption and arcade entertainment market, its Godzilla theme is an especially prominent part of the cabinet.
The game appears to be exclusive to Round1USA locations in the western United States for now, which may explain why the available trailer seems aimed at the Chinese market.
The trailer concentrates on the large Godzilla statue positioned at the centre of the machine rather than showing gameplay. The cabinet is expected to use familiar coin-pusher mechanics, including jackpot features, although the trailer does not provide a detailed demonstration.
Godzilla Kaiju Drop is not currently listed on the UNIS website. We first heard about the title through Taito, confirming that the company has some level of involvement, although the extent of that role remains unclear. UNIS and Taito have previously worked together on OnPoint/Gunarena and Space Invaders Counter Attack.
Picture Book Land receives new content
UNIS has also promoted an update for Picture Book Land, a beat ’em up arcade game that dispenses cards. The update adds new content and introduces a Boss Rush mode.
At present, the title does not appear to be planned for release in Western markets, nor does it seem to be tied to a particular Western arcade chain. Limited releases for specific clients are possible, however, so its wider promotion may reflect either a targeted arrangement or UNIS presenting more of its portfolio.
IAAPA 2025 should provide a useful opportunity to clarify the game’s intended distribution, assuming further information is available at the show.
Top Speed Legend revealed
The third title is Top Speed Legend, a new racer briefly shown in a video shared on Discord by a user named Maximus. UNIS is scheduled to fully unveil the game at GTI 2025.
From the short preview, Top Speed Legend appears to draw on the style of Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade. That comparison is understandable: Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade has been one of the best-selling arcade games of the past five years.
The racing category is set to become particularly busy after GTI 2025, including within UNIS’s own range. The company already has several racers available, with this title and other upcoming releases adding to the competition. What to watch at GTI China 2025
Further coverage will follow from GTI China 2025, scheduled for 10–12 September 2025. The exhibition is expected to feature several new arcade games from UNIS and other manufacturers, with some of those titles potentially heading to Western markets.
