Tracks of the Beast quest walkthrough in Arc Raiders

Tracks of the Beast is an early quest in the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders. You must visit two locations, ping a Bully and a Skulker, then optionally hunt Skulkers and deliver their loot to Shani. Every objective must be completed during the same round.

This guide covers the six objectives, the Northern Tracks, the destroyed station and the rewards available from the quest.

Tracks of the Beast quest steps

There are six steps in total. The first four are required, while the final two are optional. You may complete them in any order, but the whole quest must be finished in one round.

• Visit the Northern Tracks on Pendola Pass.
• Find the destroyed station at the end of the tracks.
• Ping a Bully.
• Ping a Skulker.
• Destroy three Skulkers. Optional.
• Deliver a Skulker Targeter to Shani. Optional.

Where to find the Northern Tracks and destroyed station

The Northern Tracks are on the northern side of Pendola Pass. They appear as the uppermost marked region on the map, with several railway lines running south. Walking along any of these tracks will satisfy the first objective.

The destroyed station is Almatera Station. Enter this named point of interest beside Porta Benvenuti and the Frozen River, and the station objective should register automatically.

How to ping the Bully and Skulker

Both enemies can be found fairly often around Pendola Pass. Use your scanner to ping one Bully and one Skulker. Be cautious around the Bully: once it spots you and starts pursuing, it will continue the chase relentlessly.

The two enemy objectives only require pings. However, you can also destroy three Skulkers for the optional objective. If you do, extract with at least one Skulker Targeter so you can hand it to Shani.

Tracks of the Beast rewards

Returning to Shani after completing the four required objectives awards 5,000 XP, three Showstoppers and a grappling hook.

Delivering a Skulker Targeter allows you to keep the item and adds a Wolfpack grenade to the reward. These grenades are harder to craft than they were previously, making the optional step worthwhile.
