Taking Stock is a five-step quest in Arc Raiders, although only four objectives must be completed. You will need to photograph two locations, identify one large ARC machine, and deliver three industrial batteries to the Nomadic Envoy.
The photographs are straightforward if you know where to look. The batteries are the difficult part, so this guide prioritises the most useful search areas and explains the available objective choices.

Taking Stock quest objectives
Bring a camera before starting the photo objectives. The quest requires the following:
- Photograph the sculpture in the Atrium on Stella Montis.
- Photograph a Baron Husk on Spaceport.
- Complete either of these objectives:
- Ping a Bombardier on Dam Battlegrounds.
- Ping a Bastion on Buried City.
- Give three industrial batteries to the Nomadic Envoy.
Because the third step offers a choice, you only need to complete one of the two ping objectives. For broader gaming and arcade coverage, browse the RETROCADE Arcade Blog.
Photograph the Atrium sculpture on Stella Montis

Travel to the Atrium on Stella Montis with a camera equipped. The Atrium is a named location in the southern section of the upper level, beside Communications and Cultural Archives.
A large sculpture stands in the centre of the room. Take its photograph to finish the first objective.
Photograph a Baron Husk on Spaceport

Spaceport contains two Baron Husks, and photographing either one is enough. Check these locations:
- Between Fuel Depot and the West Container Yard in the north-western part of the map.
- Immediately west of Vehicle Maintenance, leaning against the wall around the main facility.
Once the photograph registers, move on to the combat-identification objective.
Choose a Bombardier or Bastion to ping
You can either ping a Bombardier on Dam Battlegrounds or a Bastion on Buried City. Buried City is generally the more convenient option because its smaller map often places several Bastions near the following areas:
- Marano Park
- The top of the Parking Garage
- Piazza Arbusto
Locate one of the machines and use the ping action to record the objective. You do not need to complete both choices.
Where to find industrial batteries

Dam Battlegrounds is the recommended map for hunting industrial batteries. Concentrate your search on the Hydroponic Dome Complex and the Controlled Access Zone, checking every container that can be looted.
In the Controlled Access Zone, look for the battery that opens the control-room door. That room offers the strongest loot in the area, making it an especially worthwhile stop.
Other places marked as containing industrial loot can theoretically produce industrial batteries, but the loot table is not completely predictable. The Hydroponic Dome Complex and Controlled Access Zone remain the most practical targets.
Quest reward
After collecting three industrial batteries, return to the Nomadic Envoy in Speranza. Completing the quest awards 8,000 XP, two jolt mines and one advanced electrical component.
