Spider-Man’s web shooters have returned to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, coinciding with the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
This traversal item lets you fire webs at trees, buildings and most other surfaces, pulling you into a swing towards the target. It is especially useful for escaping the storm or reaching another location quickly.
Web shooters are not obtained from ordinary chests. You need to find Spider-Man-related equipment or visit Spider-Man at a particular location.
How to get Spider-Man’s web shooters
Update for July 31: The web shooters have been vaulted temporarily. They are scheduled to return after the Web Shooter hours on Saturday, August 1.
Once the item is available, there are two known ways to obtain it:
- Buy it from Spider-Man at The Battlewoods for 2,000 gold bars.
- Search a Spider-Man backpack.
Spider-Man is expected to appear at The Battlewoods. However, he was not present in the game during the source material’s testing, so his precise location was not yet confirmed. The location can be added once he appears.
Spider-Man backpacks have a distinctive spiderweb design and are attached to walls around the island. Their spawn points stay consistent, but a backpack is not guaranteed to appear in every match.
Players prioritising this item should consider landing at a named point of interest, as each location appears to have at least one possible backpack spawn. Reported examples include the top of the triangular building at Shaken Sanctuary and the second-floor balcony of the building featuring a Spider-Man mural at The Battlewoods.
