Sony is opening the autumn gaming calendar with a September PlayStation State of Play. The presentation will feature a new deep dive into Final Fantasy VII Revelation, while fans are also hoping for another look at Naughty Dog’s sci-fi action title, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
The upcoming broadcast was announced on the PlayStation Blog as a showcase of updates and announcements from PlayStation Studios and its third-party partners. Square Enix will close the presentation with an extended examination of the expansive world of Final Fantasy VII Revelation.
Once the main event ends, viewers can move straight into a new episode of State of Play Japan. Hosted again by Yuki Kaji, the Japanese-language programme will include English subtitles and focus on upcoming releases from studios in Japan and across Asia, with gameplay, announcements and other details.
When to watch the September State of Play
The first presentation begins at 9:00 a.m. ET on September 3, with State of Play Japan following immediately afterwards. Sony has not confirmed the running time for either broadcast, leaving open the question of whether this will be a substantial showcase or a shorter collection of trailers and updates.

Could Intergalactic make an appearance?
