Multimorphic is bringing The Princess Bride to arcades this summer through its interchangeable P3 pinball platform. The release follows Weird Al’s Museum of Natural Hilarity and gives the system another major 1980s entertainment licence.

The new game will be available in three machine configurations: Standard, Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition. Existing P3 owners can instead purchase a game kit and swap out their current playfield module.
- Dedicated machines: $11,500 for Standard Edition, $12,750 for Limited Edition and $13,750 for Collector’s Edition
- Game kits: $3,750 or $5,000
Multimorphic will begin taking pre-orders tomorrow at 9AM CST. Customers will need an account on the company’s website before placing an order.
Updates to the Multimorphic P3 platform
The Princess Bride launch also introduces a series of P3 platform changes. Machines shipping when production begins will include updated front cabinet artwork, RGB speaker lighting as standard equipment rather than an optional extra, and other improvements previously announced by Multimorphic. Upgrade kits will also be offered to existing P3 owners.
“We have a number of changes and improvements to the P3 platform in progress. All P3s shipping upon the start of The Princess Bride production will include all of the changes.”
The company says the revised platform pricing starts at $8,500 for a base P3 without a game kit. That price includes the RGB speaker lights. Buyers can also order a machine with a playfield module installed at the Multimorphic factory for 20% off the module’s price.
At $8,500 before adding a game, the P3 moves closer to the pricing of a Stern Premium machine. Its interchangeable design remains a practical distinction: owners can change themes when their tastes or location needs shift, rather than committing to a single game indefinitely.
