Customising Ditto in Pokémon Pokopia means searching the island for outfits and hairstyles inspired by familiar trainers, Gym Leaders and other Pokémon characters. This guide lists the known main-island, Bubbly Basin DLC and Dream Island cosmetics.
Cosmetics are unlocked from “human records”: magazines, tablets, books, newspapers and letters marked by a yellow sparkle. Interact with a record to add its item to your collection, then visit any mirror to change your appearance. Outfit pieces can be mixed independently, so hats, tops and other items do not need to be worn as a complete set.
The main-island items have fixed locations. Dream Island cosmetics are random, with only one Dream Island available each day. Time travelling can provide faster access to additional islands. The Bubbly Basin list below reflects the finds recorded on 6 August 2026; one DLC cosmetic was still missing at that point.
Main-island outfits and hairstyles
Search for the following records in the named areas. Bubbly Basin items require the DLC.
- Team Rocket outfit: In the building on Sparkling Skylands’ north-west island. Enter from the roof and descend the metal stairs.
- Rock-solid outfit: Enter the Rocky Ridges mine from the entrance where DJ Rotom appears. Continue to the lava room, drop through the central opening so you land beneath the stone arch, then follow the route and climb the ladders to the book.
- Ranger outfit: Beside the furnace in the industrial ruins at Bleak Beach.
- Ninja outfit: Inside a ruined house east of the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center.
- Psychic Master outfit: On the floor of the eroded Gym on Sparkling Skylands’ eastern island.
- Black Belt outfit: In the Sparkling Skylands dojo. Reach it using the elevator on the northern island.
- Sailor outfit: On the bridge of the S.S. Anne at Bleak Beach, beside the steering wheel.
- Super Nerd outfit: On the path into the Rocky Ridges mine from the room where you first meet DJ Rotom.
- Parted hair: In a cave in the Withered Wasteland where you free Onix.
- Mermaid hair: On a cliff above the ruined town north of the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center.
- Mermaid outfit (DLC): From Bubbly Basin’s main area, travel east and break the rocks blocking the route. The outfit is inside the old building on the left.
- Preschooler outfit (DLC): Cross the bridge north of Bubbly Basin’s main area and search near the preschool.
- Triathlete outfit (DLC): Under a gazebo north-west of Bubbly Basin’s main area.
- Crested hair (DLC): In a cave above the water east of Bubbly Basin’s main area.
- Ponytail (DLC): Above the water in the broken half of a house in northern Bubbly Basin.

Dream Island outfits and hairstyles
Dream Island records are comparatively uncommon. Search caves for breakable brown rock blocks, particularly rooms containing bookshelves and boxes. In Bubbly Basin, submarine-like structures are useful places to check. It may take many islands to collect the complete set; the search can be slow enough that several legendary Pokémon may be found first.
