How to start the Fetching Scales for Feebas event

The only requirement is to have rebuilt at least one Pokémon Center. After the event starts, launch the game and you will see a message explaining that a Pokémon is attracting attention around town.

Visit any rebuilt Pokémon Center to meet Feebas. The Water-type Pokémon will tell you about its lost Prism Scales. Once you begin helping, you can return to Feebas at any rebuilt Pokémon Center and exchange the scales you collect for event decorations.

Feebas becomes your friend at the start of the event. Milotic is also available, but you must build one of the two new event habitats to attract it. If you do not exchange enough Prism Scales before the event ends, furnishings can still be copied with the 3D printer.

How to find Prism Scales in Pokémon Pokopia

Prism Scales are found exclusively on Dream Islands, so you will need Drifloon’s help. Speak to Drifloon or interact with a suitable doll to travel to one.

Scales can appear throughout a Dream Island, both above and below the water. The Starmie doll’s Dream Island, for example, has Prism Scales on land and underwater.

You can visit only one Dream Island each day, but there is no limit on repeat visits to that same island. A single trip can provide more than 70 Prism Scales, which is enough to purchase all six event items.

All Fetching Scales for Feebas event rewards

The complete reward set costs 60 Prism Scales. The floating lantern is the least essential purchase because it is not required for either new habitat, so consider leaving it until later if your supply is limited.

  • Beach volleyball set — 15 Prism Scales: includes a volleyball, net, towels and water.

Remember that the event is governed by your Nintendo Switch’s local console time. Visit a rebuilt Pokémon Center to meet Feebas, use Drifloon to reach a Dream Island, collect Prism Scales and spend them on the decorations needed for both habitats.
