Minior is arriving in Pokémon Go, but this meteor Pokémon will only appear during special in-game Meteor Shower periods. Encounters are more common during the evening, so the schedule is worth checking before heading out.

The next Minior Shower runs from October 19 to October 24. The events use your local time, making the dates straightforward for Australian players to follow.

How to find Minior in Pokémon Go
Minior is available only while a Meteor Shower is active. During the listed events, it appears more frequently between 5 pm and 9 pm local time.
Minior has a brown outer shell and a colourful core. Several core colours are available, although which colours will debut during each individual Meteor Shower has not been confirmed.

Minior is not currently available in its shiny form.
Minior’s battle forms
Minior uses two battle forms. While its brown shell is intact, it is in Meteor Form, which gives it higher Defence and lower Attack. Once it loses 50% of its HP, the shell breaks away and reveals the core. Minior then has higher Attack and lower Defence.
At present, Minior can change forms only in player-versus-player battles, during encounters with Team GO Rocket members and when battling team leaders.
