Pokémon fans will soon have a substantial home-video collection to consider: Viz Media is preparing an Amazon-exclusive limited-edition Blu-ray set containing all 24 Pokémon films. The presentation is distinctive, but the reported US$400 preorder price makes it a serious purchase for collectors.
The set is planned for release on November 24, 2026, and preorders are currently listed on Amazon.com. Australian shoppers should note that the product is presently listed only through Amazon.com rather than other Amazon stores.
A collector-focused Pokémon movie package
Each Blu-ray disc is designed around the story of its film. The discs are housed in a hardcover case styled like a book, with the complete package enclosed inside a Poké Ball display piece.
That format gives the release a strong shelf presence, although the available product information remains limited. The Amazon listing currently shows a December 31, 2099 date, which conflicts with the November 24, 2026 release date announced for the collection.
The listing also does not provide movie ratings or confirm whether the films will include their original audio, the short films that accompanied various theatrical releases, or additional bonus features. Those details may be clarified by Viz Media before launch.
Why a physical collection could appeal
Pokémon movies have been part of the franchise for more than two decades. The films traditionally centre on Ash, also known as Satoshi, the lead character from the original anime, while generally standing apart from the series’ ongoing storyline.
