Palworld Online, a massively multiplayer spin-off of 2024’s creature-collecting hit Palworld, has been announced by developer Pocketpair.
The new game is planned exclusively for iOS and Android in 2026. Its official news release describes a mobile experience intended to retain the depth, freedom and scale associated with Palworld.

Shared worlds, cooperation and competition
Palworld Online will place players in a large, seamlessly connected open world populated by the mysterious creatures known as Pals. The game will feature its own setting and original storyline, alongside new side stories created specifically for the mobile release.
Players will be able to encounter one another in the world, form parties, build bases together and take part in both cooperative and competitive activities. Planned multiplayer options include PvE challenges, PvP battles, visits to other players’ bases, open-world boss fights and group searches for rare Pals.
Terry Zhao, president of Garena—the publisher behind both Palworld and Palworld Online—said the project is being optimised for mobile play while aiming to preserve the series’ immersion, depth and freedom.
Four announced features
- Open-world exploration and Pal raising: Players can travel through a connected world, discover hidden treasures and story clues, capture and raise Pals, and unlock new areas. These encounters are designed to deepen the relationship between players and their Pals.
- Online multiplayer: Friends can meet in the same world, form groups, cooperate on difficult content and compete in PvP. Players can also progress at their own pace by visiting bases, hunting for rare Pals or tackling powerful bosses together.
- Shared bases: Groups can construct and expand a joint base that supports building, defence and everyday activities. Pals can be assigned to automate production and help protect the base, allowing each group to develop its own settlement.
- Mobile-focused controls: The interface and controls are being designed for smartphones, with intuitive touch input and one-tap controls. Base construction, relocation, Pal placement and management are all intended to work smoothly on mobile devices.
Garena and Pocketpair also say they are working to make the game comfortable to play across a wide range of devices without giving up the defining freedom and depth of Palworld.
