Blizzard Entertainment and CD Projekt Red have announced several upcoming collaborations, including a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover for Overwatch. The news was revealed during the 30 Years of Battle.net panel at BlizzCon 2026.
What is coming to Overwatch?
Only a small preview has been shown so far, but two pieces of artwork confirmed that David from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Talia from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 will receive Overwatch cosmetics.
Blizzard has not yet revealed which heroes will receive the outfits. It is also unknown whether other characters, including Lucy, will be included in the event.
The crossover follows previous Overwatch collaborations with anime properties such as My Hero Academia, Cowboy Bebop and One-Punch Man. More information is expected before the collaboration arrives sometime in 2027.
For Australian players tracking the wider partnership, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is scheduled to release on Netflix on 20 October. Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is also coming to Battle.net later in 2026.

Other Blizzard and CD Projekt Red projects
The same presentation outlined further plans between the companies. The Witcher 3 and its Songs of the Past expansion are planned for the Battle.net launcher, while Diablo 4 will receive a Geralt of Rivia cosmetic.
The Geralt item will be offered as a pre-order bonus for Songs of the Past. It gives the Barbarian an outfit inspired by Geralt’s Wild Hunt Kaer Morhen armour, complete with bear pelts. The character’s swords will also receive new appearances based on the two weapons Geralt commonly carries.
Developers teased that more collaborations are planned for 2027, although no further details were provided. The confirmed projects currently span anime-inspired cosmetics, fantasy role-playing games and Blizzard’s live-service titles.
Diablo 4 platforms
Diablo 4 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. The game is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on 15 September.
