Noisz Arc⌖Coda and Shadow Gangs X Open for Pre-Order

Two new plug-and-play software kits are now available for pre-order for the exA-Arcadia arcade system: NOISZ ARC⌖CODA and Shadow Gangs X.

NOISZ ARC⌖CODA blends rhythm action with bullet hell

NOISZ ARC⌖CODA combines rhythm-game mechanics with shoot ’em up action. Each stage is closely choreographed to its music, creating a play experience where movement, attacks and the soundtrack work together.

The game recently appeared on test at Taito Hey in Japan and reached the number-one position by a substantial margin. Its performance reportedly surprised the operator, who had not expected such a strong result.

ARC⌖CODA delivers faster arcade-focused gameplay and includes the complete content of NOISZ and NOISZ re:||VERSE, alongside exclusive new stages and songs designed to be exceptionally challenging. The kit includes an A1 poster, marquee or header and instruction strip in Japanese and English.

With support for TATE, or vertical-screen, presentation, the title could be a natural fit for venues attracting both rhythm-game players and shoot ’em up fans. Owners planning a dedicated upright arcade setup should also consider the screen orientation required by the game.

Shadow Gangs X brings ninja action to exA-Arcadia

Shadow Gangs X was also tested in Japan recently. Its reception was described as “pretty good”, although it did not match the result achieved by NOISZ ARC⌖CODA.

The gameplay draws on the side-scrolling action style associated with Shinobi and Bad Dudes Vs. Dragon Ninja. The arcade release adds a female ninja character and supports alternating two-player action, giving the classic format an additional multiplayer option.
