1. Moana

- Available on: VOD
- Genre: Adventure
- Run time: 1 hour 55 minutes
- Director: Thomas Kail
- Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Catherine Laga’aia, Rena Owen
Disney’s live-action Moana follows the teenager from Motunui as she crosses the ocean in search of Maui, the demigod who can help protect her island home. Dwayne Johnson plays Maui, while Catherine Laga’aia plays Moana.
The adaptation largely follows the animated film’s story, with some additional lines for Johnson’s Maui and extra visual comedy for Heihei. Thomas Kail also gives greater attention to Polynesian dance, including village rituals performed by Laga’aia, her on-screen parents and a large ensemble.
2. Supergirl

- Available on: HBO Max
- Genre: Action
- Run time: 1 hour 48 minutes
- Director: Craig Gillespie
- Cast: Milly Alcock, Jason Momoa, David Corenswet
Supergirl properly introduces Kara Zor-El after her earlier tease in Superman. She travels across space to pursue a mercenary responsible for murder and kidnapping, while also dealing with the injury suffered by her beloved dog, Krypto.
The film leans into the energetic style associated with James Gunn’s superhero projects: fast-moving combat, a crowded alien universe and a mixture of irreverent humour and sentiment. Milly Alcock’s performance as Supergirl is a particular strength, even though the adventure received middling reviews and performed poorly at the box office.
3. Mutiny

- Available on: VOD
- Genre: Action
- Run time: 1 hour 35 minutes
- Director: Jean-Francois Richet
- Cast: Jason Statham, Annabelle Wallis, Roland Moller
Jason Statham plays Cole Reed, a bodyguard who sees his employer being murdered before being framed for the crime. While fleeing, Reed boards a cargo ship filled with pirates and discovers an international conspiracy.
Mutiny reached cinemas in late August, but following a disappointing theatrical debut it is moving quickly to VOD.
4. One Night Only
- Available on: VOD
- Genre: Romance
- Run time: 1 hour 42 minutes
- Director: Will Gluck
- Cast: Monica Barbaro, Callum Turner, Maya Hawke
The film behind one of the year’s most widely shared memes is now available on VOD. Set in an alternate New York, One Night Only follows two single people searching for a genuine connection. Their meeting takes place during a 12-hour period in which the government permits premarital sex.

Five years after the agency closes, Andrea Martel, played by Camille Cottin, attempts to direct her first feature film and reunites the original cast.
