What is included in Project Rasengan?

The first major reveal was Naruto x Ninku, a limited crossover anime now in production. Ninku is the martial-arts shonen manga and anime that influenced Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto. The roadmap places the crossover in 2027, although the teaser shown at the convention did not confirm a specific release date.

Fans can also expect the Naruto Card Game in 2027. Its base game and first booster pack are scheduled for a simultaneous worldwide launch in June 2027. Promotional artwork showed a selection of cards, while in-store demonstrations are planned for February and March of that year.

Naruto Mobile is finally heading worldwide

Naruto Mobile has been available in China since 2016, but Bandai Namco is preparing a global release. The publisher has not yet provided a launch window, despite the game appearing close to 2027 on the Project Rasengan schedule. Further information is expected at Jump Festa 2027 in December.

The franchise’s live-action film was also discussed. No trailer or casting details were revealed, but director Destin Daniel Cretton sent a message that was read during the panel. He highlighted Naruto’s determination, optimism and loyalty, describing the character as someone who is often underestimated but continues fighting for the people he loves.
