High-tenacity fibers are an important crafting material in the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. They are used for several FOB upgrades, including the uncommon ingredient printing upgrade, which lets you manufacture higher-rarity crafting materials.
If you need to restock, Songdo Wharf’s La Grand Vie rooftop is the most reliable place to begin. The location offers access to the material without the heavy enemy presence found at some of the other listed areas.

Where to find high-tenacity fibers in DMZ

La Grand Vie is one of three locations identified in-game for high-tenacity fibers. Compared with the Chang-san Air Base armory and barracks, the rooftop route is generally less crowded with enemies.
Search the 13th floor and rooftop
Check both the 13th floor and the rooftop itself. Fibers can appear in either area, and they commonly spawn as floor loot rather than only inside containers. Search the surrounding floors carefully before moving on.
- Visit the 13th floor of La Grand Vie.
- Check the rooftop thoroughly.
- Inspect open floor areas as well as containers.
Watch for commanders
La Grand Vie is not completely safe. A commander may patrol nearby, and there can sometimes be two. Previous encounters have included Colossus alongside either a Death Stalker or a Tank.
Stealth is the safest approach. A silenced weapon can help you avoid raising the alarm while you search the building and rooftop.
Search La Grand Vie methodically, then leave quietly once you have collected the fibres you need.
Combine the loot run with a story objective
The Netshin Tech Complex is very close to La Grand Vie. During the same trip, you can visit the complex to place a transmitter required for one of the campaign chapters, allowing one run to cover both objectives.
