Raw Thrills is introducing a two-player edition of Minecraft Dungeons Arcade, giving venues with less floor space or a smaller budget another way to run the licensed arcade game.
Minecraft Dungeons Arcade gets a smaller format
Originally launched in 2021, Minecraft Dungeons Arcade brought the hugely popular Minecraft brand to arcades. The first machine supported four players and included card dispensers as part of its player-progression system.
The original cabinet reportedly sold for around $14,000, a substantial price for a joystick-based game. At Amusement Expo 2024, the new two-player version was revealed as a more compact and affordable alternative for operators.

What changes in the two-player version?
The gameplay is intended to remain unchanged. Each player receives a card, scans it to strengthen their character, and then works through one of several levels while battling the Illager forces.

Series 2 promotion, Series 3 still pending
Series 3 is not available yet, although it is expected in the future. The promotional flyer for this two-player release instead highlights the machine as coming with Series 2.
