EVO 2026 is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the event has delivered another significant arcade announcement. exA-Arcadia has revealed Invincible VS, a new commercial arcade fighter based on the adult animated superhero series.
The announcement follows exA-Arcadia’s strong presence at EVO Japan 2026 earlier this year. The company remains focused on bringing new one-on-one fighting games to commercial arcades, and they have unveiled a new fighter in Vegas.
Invincible VS Heads to Arcades
Invincible is an Amazon Prime animated series aimed at an adult audience. Its superhero setting is paired with graphic violence, including blood and character deaths, rather than the softer consequences often seen in more conventional superhero stories.
The arcade edition is based on the game released in April this year. exA-Arcadia has not yet shared a complete set of arcade-specific details, so the build shown at EVO 2026 is currently the main source of information.
“Invincible VS is a brutal superhero 3v3 tag fighting game set in the Invincible universe, where you can battle to the death as a team of fan-favorite characters in iconic locations.”
The home release includes dialogue-heavy sequences and sections where players can spend time without a match timer running. Those elements may be streamlined or removed for the arcade version, following the approach exA-Arcadia has taken with other releases and the need to keep location-based play direct and efficient.
It is also possible that the exA-Arcadia edition will include downloadable content. The company took that approach with Hunter X Hunter: Nen Impact, although inclusion of all Invincible VS DLC still requires confirmation.

Invincible VS can be played at the Voodoo Ranger booth during EVO 2026 in Las Vegas. exA also has several other games to enjoy at EVO 2026, including AVATAR Legends and The King of Fighters ’98.

A Slower Period for New Arcade Releases
The announcement arrives during a relatively quiet period for new arcade video games. Since Amusement Expo in March, some releases have been held up by sea-freight problems, while rising costs for essential PC components and plastics have affected the wider market.
Those pressures have left several announced games waiting for confirmation that shipping has started. Until then, operators and arcade enthusiasts are left waiting for clearer release information.
exA-Arcadia had been launching new games at an almost monthly pace before this year. At the time of writing, its most recent launch was Asuka 120% in December. The company is still expecting AVATAR Legends: The Fighting Game and G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra to ship during summer, alongside other previously announced projects.
Recent price changes suggest that the component-cost crisis may be contributing to the slower release schedule. Licensed games can also face additional delays when rights holders are closely involved in development.
A High-Profile Addition to the Arcade Line-Up
Invincible VS continues exA-Arcadia’s move towards recognisable entertainment properties. A well-known licence such as Invincible or AVATAR could attract attention in an arcade location, particularly when the presentation sits alongside modern console releases.
Until the arcade specifications, content plans and shipping details are confirmed, the EVO 2026 demonstration is only an early look. For readers following the wider arcade news, it is nevertheless one of the more notable fighter announcements of the year.
For anyone considering a dedicated setup, the Arcade Machine Buying Guide offers useful context on choosing a cabinet, while upright arcade machines remain the traditional format for a full-size fighting game experience.
Would Invincible VS be your pick from exA-Arcadia’s upcoming fighters, or are you more interested in AVATAR Legends?
