UNIS brought a substantial product range to IAAPA 2023, with redemption games, prize machines and cranes making up most of its display. The China-based manufacturer, which also has offices in Canada and the United States, continues to expand its crane offering as interest in this category grows, particularly across Asia.
The company also presented several video games, including a new Bigfoot monster-truck racer and the sequel to Lane Master. The products discussed here were scheduled to begin shipping in the first quarter of 2024, with orders available through distributors at the time of the show.

Inside the UNIS booth
UNIS used its large IAAPA stand to showcase a broad launch line-up. Redemption and crane equipment dominated the floor, while the booth also included water-blaster games, sports machines, a whacker and several video attractions.
Bigfoot Mayhem
The main video-game attraction was Bigfoot Mayhem, UNIS’s second racing title based on the Bigfoot monster truck. Its expected price was around $16,000, positioning it closer to the Standard version of Fast & Furious Arcade than the Deluxe model, even though its intended feature set was aimed directly at the Deluxe category.
The game was listed for availability in March 2024. Its cabinet stood out visually, and the title appeared to be among UNIS’s strongest-looking games from a graphical perspective. With development still continuing, handling, driving behaviour and difficulty could change before release.
Lane Master Xtreme
Lane Master Xtreme is the follow-up to UNIS’s popular Lane Master and was displayed in a twin configuration. The optional Power Ball power-up was fitted to the machine, although it did not appear to be operational on the show floor.
No price was provided, but its cost was expected to remain reasonably close to the original twin-unit price.
Raccoon Rampage
Raccoon Rampage is a water-blaster attraction built around familiar gameplay for the genre. Although it was not played during the visit, children were seen trying the machine. Its presentation appeared more inviting than some comparable attractions, helped by the backlit seats.

Godzilla Vs. Kong Smasher
UNIS also displayed a Godzilla and Kong-themed whacker designed to benefit from the continuing popularity of the Godzilla property. The machine was illuminated but not playable at IAAPA, and further changes were expected. UNIS was also developing a two-player version.
The attraction was expected to become available around March 2024, one month before Godzilla X Kong: New Empire was slated to launch in April 2024.

Most of the stand was dedicated to ticket, prize and crane equipment. The displayed line-up included:

Wicked Tuna and Sailor’s Quest VR were also present after appearing previously. Sailor’s Quest VR was not a videmption game.
UNIS’s strongest IAAPA showing
Bigfoot Mayhem was the standout video game of the UNIS display, combining a distinctive cabinet with an unusually polished visual presentation. Its final driving feel and difficulty remained areas to watch as development continued.
