JET Games, also known as Jennison Entertainment, used IAAPA 2023 to show how its product range is expanding beyond redemption equipment and kiddie rides. The Florida-based company moved further into video games after acquiring Family Fun Companies, creating a broader mix for amusement venues.

The booth included several products aimed at venues looking for a combination of interactive play, ticket redemption and more conventional arcade gameplay. The tour below provides an overview of the stand and its expanding video-game focus.

Mega Shot
Mega Shot was the headline attraction. It builds on ideas seen in Big Shot and Quick Shot, presenting them in a larger format with one or two vertically mounted 85-inch screens, depending on the model.
The cabinet uses a modern-style rifle with a working scope, giving the game a more realistic shooting presentation. JET representative John explained that the machine still required some final adjustments at the show, with shipping expected to begin soon. The title appeared on JET’s new website, and distributors were already accepting orders. No confirmed price was provided.
Mega Shot contains three levels and has similarities to Konami’s Silent Scope. That places it in a relatively under-served arcade shooting category, although its eventual value will also depend on how it compares with Amusement Source’s Sniper Strike II.
Big Shot
Big Shot is a related product that launched earlier in 2023. It follows the earlier Quick Shot, retaining the same basic gun and gameplay concept while adding a larger screen and support for two players in each cabinet rather than one.
A price of approximately $18,000 was mentioned, but operators should confirm current pricing with their distributor. A future comparison was also planned covering Big Shot and Mega Shot alongside competitors including Bullseye Crack Shot and Gunfight Hero.
JET Darts
JET Darts received less dedicated coverage, so the booth tour is the best look at the product. It appeared well suited to a bar or other venue wanting to add electronic darts.
The system uses LED lighting and an integrated display rather than the projection mapping found on Sega’s dart system. That simpler approach may result in a lower price, although the product’s price and any sales restrictions were not confirmed. Coin-operated dart equipment has previously been subject to rules that varied by sales territory, so Australian venues should check local requirements with a distributor.
Quick Toss and Cannonball Drop
Two videmption products appeared briefly in the booth footage. Cannonball Drop continues the ball-drop concept associated with JET titles such as Gum Drop, Space Ballz and Ocean Pearls. Its presentation uses a pirate theme and a cannon controller.
Quick Toss is a ball-toss ticket game housed in an attractive cabinet. The range of target types was not clear, but the inclusion of leaderboards stood out. Leaderboard features are more commonly associated with video arcade games, making their appearance in a videmption title an unusual touch.
Kiddie rides and availability
JET’s kiddie rides appeared to be well made, and integrating video-game elements gives them more activity than a basic ride built around spinning controls and buttons. That combination may be appealing to family venues seeking rides with an interactive component.
