Amusement Source International (ASI) will present a varied selection of imported arcade games at IAAPA Expo 2023, with the company scheduled for booth 237. Founded by Cory Haynes, a former GameWorks CEO, ASI brings selected Asian-developed titles to the US market and works with developers on regional adjustments where needed.
The line-up covers motorcycle racing, augmented reality, overhead driving, flight-themed action, video redemption and ticket games. For Australian operators and collectors, it offers a useful snapshot of the international arcade hardware and software currently reaching major trade shows. Parkour Motor 2
Ace Amusement’s Parkour Motor 2 is a full-size motorcycle racing cabinet designed with younger players in mind. The title was previously shown at IAAPA Expo Europe 2023 and adds another option to the growing bike-racing category.
The available cabinet image shows a twin setup, with both games sharing a central coin door and marquee. The machine is also presented by UDC, its European distributor. Its positioning may make it a competitively priced alternative to other motorcycle racers, although pricing was not confirmed.
A supplied gameplay clip accompanies the preview, while further footage was expected after hands-on play at the show.
Go! Hero Of Robots
Go! Hero Of Robots is an augmented-reality game for children from Wahlap and IGS. Players see themselves transformed into giant robots, then use a motion sensor to battle other robots and large monsters across the game’s action scenes.
The newer version being promoted by ASI includes cabinet changes and can also function as a photo booth. Players are able to capture an image of themselves wearing the on-screen armour.
Nitto Racer
Nitto Racer is a one-to-four-player overhead racing game that had appeared in overseas trade-show coverage but had not previously reached the US market. Its presentation resembles Hot Wheels: King of the Road from Adrenaline, although hands-on play would be needed to establish the differences between the two titles.
Sky Riders DX
ASI previously displayed the original Ace Amusement version of Sky Riders at Amusement Expo 2023. The game combines pedal-powered flying action reminiscent of Namco’s Prop Cycle with updated graphics, modern hardware and a steampunk setting.
For IAAPA 2023, the company planned to show the DX model. Its key cabinet change is a 55-inch screen, replacing the 43-inch display used by the earlier version.
Junkyard Rumble
Junkyard Rumble is a new video redemption game built around blasting piles of scrapped cars. It follows the broad format of TouchMagix’s Mega Blaster, but swaps building sections for stacks of junked vehicles.
The cabinet supports two players and includes a TNT lever as a physical control. The preview raised an open question about whether the lever’s feedback would match the strength offered by Mega Blaster.
Redemption titles and the wider booth line-up
ASI indicated that 12 games would be displayed at its booth, including some titles also appearing at the Wahlap booth. The remaining selection was expected to include further redemption products, with Ticket Champ and Super Air Blaster named as examples.
