PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers have until 17 November to play Grand Theft Auto V through the service. Sony is notifying PS5 owners that the game, listed in the alert as Once Upon A Time In Los Santos, will be removed only two days before GTA VI launches on 19 November.
Players who have not already joined the roughly 230 million people who own a copy still have a limited window to experience one of the defining open-world games of its era. The timing has also attracted attention because the notification includes an option to pre-order GTA VI.
