GTA 6 is receiving official PlayStation hardware, with Sony announcing a limited-edition DualSense controller for PS5. The Vice City-inspired accessory will launch alongside the game on 19 November 2026.
A Vice City-inspired DualSense
The controller uses a black-and-white colour scheme with glossy purple accents. Palm-tree etchings appear across the design, while the touchpad features a large “VI” mark surrounded by additional palm-tree detailing. A GTA logo is placed on the rear of the controller.

Pre-orders and Australian details
Pre-orders are open through Sony and major retailers. The controller is priced at $84, with the source material not specifying an Australian dollar price or local retailer availability.

Designed for GTA 6 gameplay
The new controller may also be useful for players expecting long sessions. GTA 6 is expected to bring back sprinting using L3, and the game is anticipated to run for around 80 hours, potentially placing considerable wear on a controller.
GTA 6 will support PS5 DualSense features including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The game is scheduled for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on 19 November 2026.
No themed console announced yet
Sony has not announced a GTA 6-themed PS5 console or a bundle combining the game, console and new DualSense. The controller announcement does, however, underline the attention being given to the PS5 version, including its expected PS5 Pro enhancements.
