GTA 6 Leaker Claims Full Build Could Be Released Before Launch

A leaker known as Cyberleek claims to have a complete build of Grand Theft Auto 6 and is threatening to release it before the game’s planned November launch.

The claim follows a fresh wave of leaks after Cyberleek briefly went quiet during September. The leaker says the alleged build will be made public if a cryptocurrency linked to the campaign reaches a market capitalisation of $30 million.

What has Cyberleek leaked?

Earlier leaks attributed to Cyberleek included gameplay from early versions of GTA 6, story missions and in-game locations. The leaker also recently shared material depicting nude versions of characters, including Jason.

The activity has reportedly targeted Rockstar Games for weeks. In late August, publisher Take-Two Interactive sought information that could identify Cyberleek by issuing subpoenas to Discord and Microsoft. The move suggested that investigators were attempting to establish the hacker’s identity and location.

The demands behind the threat

Cyberleek says it will hold back the alleged build if Take-Two agrees to two further conditions: release GTA 6 on a physical disc and issue a public apology.

The leaker has repeatedly framed the campaign as a protest against a physical release that may contain only a download code rather than the complete game. Cyberleek argues that players should be able to own the game on physical media.

There is also an obvious financial component. The threat is tied to the $CYBERLEEK cryptocurrency, giving the campaign a potential way to profit from the attention generated by each leak.

Will the alleged build appear?

At the time of the report, $CYBERLEEK had a market capitalisation of approximately $6 million, although its value had been rising since the offer was announced. Reaching the stated $30 million target would therefore require a substantial increase.

Take-Two is unlikely to accept the demands, particularly so close to release. Whether Cyberleek genuinely possesses a finished build or is bluffing remains unverified. For now, the situation leaves fans waiting to see whether another leak appears before launch.
