A leaker using the Cyberleek name has threatened to publish an alleged complete build of Grand Theft Auto 6 if a meme coin connected to the account reaches a $30 million market capitalisation.

The threat follows more than a month of silence after the game’s extended gameplay presentation on Netflix. Earlier this week, Cyberleek returned with roughly 25 minutes of additional footage, including material that appeared to show Jason without clothes.

A demand aimed at Rockstar and Take-Two

In an offer notice dated October 10, Cyberleek claimed that reaching the $30 million target would trigger the release of the entire build, including the full story mode, its ending and the credits. The account also said viewers could request specific footage as proof.

“CYBERLEEK hits 30 million marketcap, the build goes out—full story mode, played to the end, credits and all,” the notice stated.

The message presented Take-Two with an alleged alternative: release physical discs for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game and issue a public apology. Cyberleek said the offer could be accepted at any time, while warning that ignoring it would amount to gambling on a bluff.

The notice was published on Cyberleek’s website.

Why the alleged build is being taken seriously

There is no independent confirmation of the account’s identity, its collaborators or the authenticity of every clip. However, the unusual nature of earlier releases has led many observers to suspect that Cyberleek obtained access to a working version of the game.

The latest footage appeared to strengthen that suspicion. It reportedly used a debug mode to show Jason unclothed, following online debate about whether the finished game would depict the character in that way. Other sections also seemed to reproduce gameplay moments shown in the Netflix presentation in August.

It remains unclear whether Cyberleek is primarily seeking money and online notoriety, or attempting to challenge industry practices the account previously described as harmful to consumers. Both explanations remain unverified.

A crypto collapse and an ongoing investigation

The account became inactive in late August after apparently withdrawing approximately $250,000 worth of its meme coin. The withdrawal was followed by an immediate collapse in the coin’s value, prompting speculation that the latest demand could represent a second attempt to profit from the same scheme.

Rockstar and its parent company, Take-Two, subpoenaed Discord and Microsoft in August for user information connected with the distribution of Cyberleek’s gameplay videos. No public update has clarified what Discord provided or how the investigation has progressed.

Fans had also tried to identify the people behind the leaks, but those efforts lost momentum after the stream of footage stopped.

What happens next?

With just over a month remaining before GTA 6 is due to launch, the latest statement could be another attempt to exploit the game’s enormous attention—or a serious escalation involving allegedly stolen material. Until the account demonstrates access to the claimed build, the $30 million condition remains an unverified threat.
