GTA 6’s $399.99 collector’s box does not include the game
Rockstar has announced Grand Theft Auto 6: The Good Time State — Vice City Collection, a premium merchandise package priced at $399.99. It is available to pre-order, but the game itself is not part of the bundle.
The collection is built around Leonida’s fictional television personality, Macca the Gator, and includes a broad selection of clothing, accessories and keepsakes inspired by the world of GTA 6.
For Australian gamers planning a dedicated display, the release is a useful reminder that licensed collectibles and playable hardware are very different purchases. RETROCADE’s arcade news covers more gaming-industry announcements, while its arcade machines provide the hands-on entertainment this box cannot.
What is included in the Vice City Collection?
The $399.99 package contains 11 listed merchandise items, plus the presentation box:
- Macca the Gator figure
- Oakley Frogskins sunglasses
- Leonida Keys crossbody bag
- New Era 9FORTY snapback hat
- Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
- Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
- Vice City collectible swizzle spoon
- Vice City razor blade keychain
- Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a metal tin
- Leonida Keys sticker pack in a stash bag
- Double-sided souvenir poster featuring a map of Leonida
The product list makes the purpose of the collection clear: it is a merchandise and display package rather than a special game edition. Buyers receive no physical copy of Grand Theft Auto 6 with the box.
How much does GTA 6 cost with the collection?
Rockstar has announced two versions of the game. The standard edition costs $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 and includes additional exclusive content.
The game will receive a physical release, although the boxed version contains a download code instead of a game disc. Purchasing the Vice City Collection alongside the standard game therefore costs at least $480 before any other costs.
That distinction may matter to collectors who want something tangible on a shelf. Those comparing physical gaming setups can also explore RETROCADE’s arcade machine buying guide or consider a compact bartop arcade for a playable centrepiece.
Other physical GTA 6 merchandise
Although the game is supplied as a download code in its boxed physical release, Rockstar is continuing to offer physical products linked to GTA 6. Alongside the Vice City Collection, the merchandise range includes a physical version of the soundtrack and a GTA 6-branded DualSense controller for PlayStation 5.
