Jersey Jack Pinball has released The Godfather 50th Anniversary, a licensed machine celebrating the acclaimed film series. The launch includes a cinematic trailer, a dedicated game page and details for prospective buyers. The trailer’s music features Slash and Mark Tremonti performing Speak Softly Love.
Two collector-focused editions
The machine is available in Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition forms, with units and ready to ship. Jersey Jack’s approach differs from some other manufacturers: the Limited Edition acts as the base model, while the Collector’s Edition adds appeal for dedicated film fans and pinball collectors.
- Limited Edition: 5,000 units, with an MSRP of $12,000.
- Collector’s Edition: 1,000 units, with an MSRP of $15,000.
Those prices match the company’s previous release, Toy Story 4. At launch, these were the only two versions listed; a Standard Edition had not been announced. Buyers could order through an authorised Jersey Jack distributor or directly from the manufacturer’s website, where the available editions are mentioned.
A playfield built around family power
The crowded underside of the playfield reflects the number of mechanisms packed into the machine. Its interactive features are designed to support the game’s central theme, while the rules allow players to choose a family and develop it over the course of play.
That progression has similarities to Jersey Jack’s Pirates of the Caribbean, which came from the same designer. A health meter is another notable feature, adding a clear status element to the ruleset.
Where it fits in the arcade market
Film licences can perform strongly on location, but results depend on the property, playfield design and rules. With prices at this level, both editions appear primarily aimed at collectors rather than high-volume arcade operators.
Jersey Jack Pinball was not listed as an exhibitor for Amusement Expo at the time, so it was uncertain whether the machine would appear there. Nevertheless, some venues had already acquired examples of Toy Story 4 and Guns N’ Roses, suggesting that selected locations may also take on the new title.
