American Pinball is preparing a limited Victory Edition of Galactic Tank Force, adding new sculpted toys and updated software to Dennis Nordman’s original 1950s-inspired science-fiction pinball machine.
Galactic Tank Force: Victory Edition
First released in 2023, Galactic Tank Force follows the absurd campaign of Empress Annoya, an alien ruler played by Kerri Ann Hoskins, known for her roles in NBA Jam and Mortal Kombat. Her mission is to abduct cows and use their milk to produce ice cream.
American Pinball previously produced a Signature Edition, while the new Victory Edition is scheduled for August or September. Production will be capped at 100 machines, making this the final production run for Galactic Tank Force.

New toys and owner upgrades
American Pinball had announced a couple of weeks ago that The Art of Pinball would become its exclusive new toy sculptor. The partnership is already reflected in Victory Edition, which introduces a redesigned tank.
The Art of Pinball will also offer 150 replacement tanks through its store in autumn. Existing owners can use those tanks to update their current machines, while the new Captain Kyan topper shown on the Victory Edition is already available as an addition.
American Pinball is also making the new changes accessible to current owners. Alongside the replacement molded toys, 3D-print files for the other toys will allow owners with suitable equipment to produce their own upgrades.
A video is available, but I’ve only seen it on Facebook so far; the manufacturer’s YouTube channel has not been updated in more than a year.
Software improvements without a new layout
The playfield layout remains unchanged, but Victory Edition introduces new software. Code version V26.07.27B is already available for existing machines and has received positive feedback from players for its range of changes and improvements.

A rare machine on location
Only 100 Victory Edition machines will be produced, so relatively few are expected to reach public venues. The replacement toys and printable files at least give existing owners a way to recreate many of the edition’s changes.
Galactic Tank Force is already uncommon on the commercial market. A search of Pinballmap.com showed only six machines across all models, with none in the writer’s local area. That scarcity could make one a distinctive addition for an Australian arcade or pinball venue.
