American Pinball has started shipping the Signature Edition of Galactic Tank Force, its original pinball machine from designer Dennis Nordman. The limited package adds collector-focused extras to the company’s 1950s science-fiction game.
What is Galactic Tank Force?
Galactic Tank Force is a non-licensed design built around a deliberately playful retro sci-fi premise. Aliens are abducting cows for their milk, while tanks are used to impose extraterrestrial authority on Earth.
The machine has been available since March 2023 and uses a distinctive tank-inspired visual design. Its performance in locations has not been publicly assessed here, although pinball rarely appears in the limited earnings information that is commonly available. American Pinball has also positioned its standard models below Stern’s Pro-level pricing.
What comes with the Signature Edition?
The Signature Edition was announced alongside the Standard model and is distinguished by its own cabinet treatment. Even with the backbox folded down, the cabinet retains the unmistakable appearance of a tank.
The cabinet itself appears broadly similar to the standard version, but the Signature Edition includes a larger collector package:

- A playfield cover
- A special-edition pint glass
Production is limited to 200 Signature Edition machines, making this a particularly scarce version once the allocation has been sold.

The Signature Edition also includes tank-tread panels with animated LED lighting, light-reactive toys, unique artwork and powder-coated components. Each machine is signed by the full team.
