Fortnite’s Sprite collection is nearing its deadline
Chapter 7 Season 3 is drawing to a close before a new Fortnite season begins. Ahead of Sonic and other highly anticipated video-game characters arriving in Battle Royale, players have one final chance to complete their Runners Sprite collection.
The collection contains 25 base Sprites, although several rare variants make completing the full set considerably more difficult. Playing during scheduled Sprite Hour events is the best way to improve the odds of finding missing types.

Sprite Spree Week brings boosted opportunities
Sprite Spree Week is giving collectors a concentrated opportunity to find the Sprites they have not yet discovered. The event features multiple Sprite Hour periods, with selected categories receiving improved spawn chances.
Any Sprites extracted during Season 3 will remain in players’ collections when the next season starts. They will also join the Sprite Garden alongside future additions. However, there is no guarantee that these current variants will appear on the Battle Royale island again. Many are due to be vaulted when Chapter 7 Season 4 launches, making this event particularly important for completionists.

Sprite Hour schedule
Sprite Spree Week starts on Saturday, 15 August, at 2 p.m. EDT, coinciding with the Unstable Event. From 9 a.m. EDT each day, one Sprite category will have a higher chance of spawning across the map.
- Saturday, 15 August: Mythic Sprites
- Sunday, 16 August: Galaxy Sprites
- Monday, 17 August: Holofoil Sprites
- Tuesday, 18 August: Cube Sprites
- Wednesday, 19 August: Gem Sprites

Bonuses and rare rewards
Several event-wide bonuses will be active during Sprite Spree Week. Equipped Sprites will earn boosted XP, making it easier to master them.
Sprite Spree Quests will also become available, offering opportunities to obtain rare Sprites such as the John Wick Sprite and the Gem Zero Point Sprite. Players will receive additional Lucky Locators, while resummoning Sprites will not require Sprite Dust.
