Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 audio log locations

Audio logs are collectible quest items that expand the story in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. They are spread across the island, with additional groups appearing throughout the season.

Some logs receive map markers, while others must be located by searching landmarks, cliffs, caves and buildings. This guide covers all five releases, including the two logs added with v42.40 on October 15.

First audio log set: three locations

The first three logs were released on Thursday, August 20. Their positions are shown on the accompanying map.

1. Near Latte Landing: Enter the cave just southwest of the override console. The opening is west of the large cable emerging from the ground. You can also reach the cave through the mountain by following the road north or east, then using the zipline.
2. North of Reality’s Reign: Search the top of the snowy mountain. The log is beside a tree and close to large ice cubes.
3. Northeast Green Hill Zone: Look on top of the large rock formation in the area’s northeast corner. Grass partly covers the log, so watch for the diamond-and-exclamation-point indicator.

Second audio log set: two locations

The second group arrived on Thursday, September 3, in the following positions.

1. Heatwave Harbor: Go just north of the Sandy Buttes Hotel, the middle building on the left side of the area. Jump over the tall hedge fence to find the log beside the building.
2. Between Stone Sanctum, Green Hill Zone and Heatwave Harbor: Follow the road leading northwest from Heatwave Harbor towards the red barn. The log is beside the large tree west of the barn.

Third audio log set: two locations

The third release appeared on Thursday, September 17, with both logs located in the lower half of the map.

1. South-west island: Reach the very top of the cliff on the small island in the south-west. You can land there from the battle bus or use one of the vertical ziplines.
2. South of Stone Sanctum: Search beneath the flowering tree on the edge of the cliff.

Fourth audio log set: three locations

Three more logs were added on Thursday, October 1, all in the south-eastern section of the island.

1. South of Reality’s Reign: The log is beside an extraction point at the top of a hill.
2. Mega Maze: Enter through the northern entrance and immediately turn left through the fake wall. Follow the stone platforms to the building, turn right to exit, then turn right again to find the log on the floor. You can alternatively drop onto the building from the battle bus.
3. Shaken Sanctuary: Check the edge of the northern pool.

Fifth audio log set: two locations

The final pair in this guide was added on Thursday, October 15, in the south-eastern part of the map.

1. Stone Sanctum: Search beside a tree near the centre of the location.
2. Car wash: The log is outside, next to a rubbish bin and the car wash sign.

That makes twelve audio logs across the five releases: three in the first set, two in the second, two in the third, three in the fourth and two in the fifth.
