Sprites return in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 with a much broader range of powers and abilities. First introduced in Chapter 6 Season 1 as supportive items, they now offer 25 different effects to shape your match.

Some Sprites are found in chests, while others appear in specific areas or after particular actions. Their variants can also provide useful bonuses, so it is worth learning what each one does before choosing which to carry.

This guide includes the Lootin’ Llama, Peeky Peely, John Wick and Ironmouse Sprites, along with the Quack and Gem variants.

Sprite variants and bonuses

Sprites may appear in several variants. Each variant adds a separate bonus:

  • Gold: Gain three times the bonus XP from eliminations.
  • Gummy: Receive 20% more Sprite Dust when extracting.
  • Galaxy: Find 30% more ammunition while looting.
  • Holofoil: Increase your chance of finding rare Sprite variants from chests by 5%.
  • Cube: Gain the Overdrive effect while inside the Storm.
  • Quack: Give 50% of the Sprite XP earned to every other Sprite in your inventory.
  • Gem: Take 30% less fall damage.

Choosing the right Sprite

Peeky Peely offers valuable information but makes your own position visible, so its drawback matters during tense fights.
