Square Enix is bringing the Nocturne for Heroes collaboration back to Final Fantasy 14, giving players another opportunity to meet Noctis from Final Fantasy 15 and collect its limited-time rewards. The return was officially announced, more than two years after the crossover last appeared in 2024.

When does Nocturne for Heroes return?
The event begins on 24 September 2026 at 1:00 a.m. PDT and ends on 13 October 2026 at 7:59 a.m. PDT. That gives Warriors of Light only a few weeks to complete the story and claim its rewards.
Nocturne for Heroes originally launched in 2021 before returning in 2024. Since this revival follows a lengthy gap, players should not assume the event will be available again soon after it concludes.
The crossover follows the Warrior of Light as they assist Noctis, the protagonist of Final Fantasy 15. To begin, visit Kipih Jakkya near the Steps of Nald in Ul’dah and accept the quest The Man in Black.
Returning players who have already completed the quest line can speak with Kipih Jakkya to use the seasonal event replay feature. New participants need a level 50 character and must have completed the main scenario quest The Ultimate Weapon.
