Disney Dreamlight Valley has revealed its remaining 2026 content plans, including two free updates, a paid expansion and a steady stream of new character content.
The roadmap was detailed during D23, following an earlier tease that more information about the free updates would arrive in August. Players can also add two throwback looks to their wardrobes, with Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire outfits entering the Premium Shop on 19 August.
Oogie Boogie and Lilo join the Valley
The first major character arrival is Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas, who is scheduled to appear in September. He will become available after players complete the yearly Halloween event.
Lilo from Lilo & Stitch follows in December. Her arrival will reunite her with Stitch, who has been roaming the Valley without her. That reunion will form part of a holiday-themed update at the end of the year.
As with other residents, players will most likely need to complete themed quests and assist both characters before they can settle into the Valley. The roadmap suggests that new characters will continue arriving throughout the year.
The Keepsake Sea brings Captain Jack Sparrow
The previously announced paid downloadable content has now been given a theme: The Keepsake Sea. It will take the life-sim adventure beneath the waves and feature Captain Jack Sparrow.
Gameloft has confirmed an October launch window, although an exact release date has not been announced. The expansion is expected between the two free updates.
Free D23 varsity jacket code
Players who watched the panel can claim the free D23 Varsity Jacket 2026 cosmetic. To redeem it, open the Help section in the Settings menu and enter DDVD23PANELGIFT. The jacket will then be delivered to the in-game mailbox.
