After a quieter period for major arcade launches, two new motorcycle racers are now reaching venues: Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush from UNIS Technology and Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus from Wahlap and LAI Games. Both combine licensed properties with motion-based bike controls, but they take distinctly different approaches.
Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush
Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush has been in development for some time. UNIS Technology is producing the game with Leads Games, a company that has recently collaborated on several arcade racers. Development began around the same period as Turf Wars, although the two projects have followed separate production schedules.

The game places players inside the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, combining motorcycle racing with combat against rival riders. Its mix of speed and road-based fighting recalls classic combat racers such as Road Rash and Sega’s arcade title Motor Raid.
Four tracks, themed bikes and recognisable characters draw directly from the wider Cyberpunk 2077 setting. The motorcycle is based on the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X, helping the cabinet connect its physical controls with the game’s fiction.
Chrome Rush is housed in a twin cabinet: two linked player stations sit beneath a shared billboard marquee. Each station includes a 65-inch 4K display, a detailed swivel motorcycle controller mounted on a motion base and wind effects. Additional cabinet detailing is designed to reinforce the Cyberpunk setting.

Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus
Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus is an expanded version of IGS and Wahlap’s Asphalt Moto Blitz DX, which launched in January 2024. The new release follows the unexpected early availability of Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade DX Plus and has also arrived earlier than the previously suggested end-of-year timing.
Unlike the earlier game’s twin-cabinet format, the DX Plus version uses a single deluxe cabinet with a portrait display. Individual units can be linked for multiplayer competition, giving operators more flexibility when planning a venue layout. Explore more racing simulators for other motion-based arcade options.
The cabinet retains the previous model’s swivel motorcycle controller, motion base and wind effects. Up to four Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus machines can be linked together. The game can also connect with up to four Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade DX Plus car units, supporting mixed car-versus-bike play across as many as eight linked machines.
The software expands the content to 23 tracks spread across seven locations. Two newly licensed motorcycles join the existing roster, with further bikes planned through updates. Graphical and gameplay improvements make this the most comprehensive version of the motorcycle racer so far.

Power and venue planning
Pricing for both releases has not been confirmed. Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush was previously expected to sit in the mid-20,000s, although that figure was not confirmed. Its twin configuration means that price would cover two player stations. Operators should contact their preferred distributor for current pricing and availability.
Both games use motion hardware and air-compressor systems, so power requirements deserve careful attention. Similar motion cabinets can require around 20 amps per station, while many venues are not wired to support that load. An electrician may therefore be needed to assess or upgrade the venue’s electrical capacity before installation.
Manufacturers and distributors would make venue planning easier by publishing total amperage requirements prominently online rather than leaving operators to search through manuals. Clear electrical information is just as important to an installation decision as cabinet dimensions and game features.

For players, the choice is straightforward: the licensed combat and Cyberpunk presentation of Chrome Rush, or the expanded track list and flexible linking options of Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus.
