Big Walk, the online co-op puzzle adventure from House House, has reached a major milestone just six days after release. The studio behind 2019’s Untitled Goose Game has confirmed that more than one million copies of its new game have been sold.

Publisher Panic shared the news on 10 August, revealing that Big Walk crossed the million-sales mark in less than a week. That is a considerably faster result than Untitled Goose Game, which took around three months to reach one million copies sold.

“In just six days, over one million of you have bought Big Walk, our co-op adventure all about talking and walking,” Panic said in its announcement. The publisher also thanked players for their fan art, streams, stories and shared moments.

A strong critical response

The sales performance is matched by an equally impressive critical reception. Big Walk supports groups ranging from two players to a dozen, who explore an island together and tackle its puzzles through communication and teamwork.

It is currently the highest-rated and best-reviewed game of 2026 according to Metacritic. Its reception places it ahead of major releases including Forza Horizon 6 and Resident Evil Requiem, as well as the indie title Mina The Hollower.

That combination of relaxed exploration, conversation and cooperative problem-solving has helped Big Walk stand out in a crowded year. Its success is also a reminder that multiplayer games do not need competitive pressure or blockbuster budgets to bring a group together.

Platforms and arcade appeal

Big Walk is available now on PS5, Switch 2 and PC. For Australian players interested in shared-screen entertainment, its emphasis on cooperation makes it a natural topic for the wider arcade gaming news conversation.
