Larian Studios’ latest Baldur’s Gate 3 livestream was removed from YouTube after a mature scene involving Harleep, Raphael’s incubus consort in the House of Hope. The stream was later taken down from TikTok as well.
The incident followed senior communications developer Aoife Wilson’s heavily modded Dark Urge playthrough. During the House of Hope sequence, Wilson chose to seduce Harleep. The resulting sex scene was partially obscured in the broadcast by someone attempting to cover the characters with a golden D20.
That was apparently enough to trigger YouTube’s enforcement systems, despite the platform facing an ongoing problem involving explicit material and sexualized ads. Larian’s broadcast was then removed from TikTok, which has similar problems to YouTube.
“True to form, we have just been banned on several platforms that we’re currently streaming to,” Wilson said, as reported by The Gamer. She wondered whether Twitch would be the remaining option and added: “Too hot for TikTok and YouTube. I’m taking that as a badge of honor.”

Sexual content and player freedom have been central to some of Baldur’s Gate 3’s most discussed moments. Harleep is one example, while the option to romance the druid Halsin in bear form attracted a lot of attention before the game launched.
Wilson’s Dark Urge stream runs each Wednesday at 10 a.m. EDT. Viewers will need to wait until the following week to find out whether the broadcast returns to YouTube and TikTok.
