AVATAR LEGENDS: The Fighting Game has been revealed for exA-Arcadia at Amusement Expo 2026, giving the Avatar franchise an arcade debut alongside its planned console and PC releases.
Avatar Legends brings the animated franchise to fighting games
Gameplay Group International is developing this fast-paced one-versus-one fighter, based on the popular Avatar anime series. The announced playable characters include Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara and Toph.
The game was announced for every major console platform and Steam last year. Its Steam description highlights hand-drawn 2D animation designed to reflect the series, proprietary rollback netcode and full cross-play for competitive online play.

AVATAR LEGENDS comes to exA-Arcadia
Following its work with Hunter x Hunter, exA-Arcadia has licensed AVATAR LEGENDS: The Fighting Game for its arcade platform. The exA release will launch during the northern summer alongside the other versions, but it will offer the complete game first. On consoles, the full game is delivered as downloadable content.
The arcade edition also benefits from the faster input response associated with exA titles, exA-Arcadia’s enhanced graphics-rendering engine and an art package intended to help operators convert a cabinet for the game.
First play at Amusement Expo 2026
The arcade version made its public debut at Amusement Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. A hands-on play session was recorded at the event.
Once the game becomes available worldwide during the northern summer, venues with an exA-Arcadia system will be able to offer it to players. The platform already supports other licensed releases, including Hunter X Hunter and Baki Hanma Blood Arena.
Another major licensed property is scheduled to be unveiled on exA-Arcadia later the same day, with another title from Blue Motion Games also due soon.
