LAI Games is preparing to distribute Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus in North America, bringing a new cabinet and upgraded software to the motorcycle-racing arcade game. The release follows LAI’s earlier work with Asphalt Moto Blitz DX and joins the company’s North American plans for Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade DX Plus.

LAI Games and the Asphalt Arcade Partnership
LAI Games has worked with Wahlap, IGS and Gameloft since the first Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade release in 2021. That game achieved more than 10,000 sales worldwide, although the portion handled by LAI is not specified and a significant number of units were sold in China.
In 2024, LAI introduced Asphalt Moto Blitz DX in a twin-cabinet configuration. The game transferred the high-speed presentation of Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade to superbikes, with detailed visuals and a strong audio package. It was also demonstrated at trade shows, where the motorcycle format offered a distinct alternative to conventional car-racing cabinets.
What Changes in Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus?
Wahlap presented the Plus versions of both Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade and Asphalt Moto Blitz at the AAA 2026 Expo in China in May. LAI has already announced plans to handle Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade DX Plus in North America, with shipments targeting September. The motorcycle game is expected to follow.

Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus uses a newly designed cabinet while retaining the same monitor approach as the updated Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade DX Plus}: an 85-inch 4K display mounted vertically. Its main point of difference is the control system, which features a sculpted, swivelling motorcycle mounted on a motion base.
Operators can connect up to four cabinets running the same game. Wahlap has also revealed a larger cross-play arrangement, allowing up to eight units by linking as many as four Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade DX Plus cabinets with four Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus machines. That setup could create a substantial multiplayer attraction for venues with enough room and budget.
New Bikes, Tracks and Licences
The Plus edition keeps the content of the original game and adds further motorcycles and circuits. The announced total is “18 elite bikes & 23 tracks”. A Ducati licence is included, alongside expected returning manufacturers including Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Triumph and Lightning.
The game’s visual quality remains a key feature, particularly on the large vertical screen. Available footage suggests that the Plus edition maintains the graphical standard of the original Moto Blitz rather than reducing its presentation, although a direct hands-on impression of the new cabinet was not yet available.
North American Release Timing
LAI Games is currently targeting November for shipment of Asphalt Moto Blitz DX Plus in North America. That would place it after Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade DX Plus, with the motorcycle racer also scheduled to appear at IAAPA 2026. Pricing has not been announced.
