Sega Amusements’ Apex Rebels includes a track that was not playable in the game’s IAAPA 2023 presentation: Motorland Sakura. This Japanese circuit is the fourth course in the arcade racer and offers a more demanding challenge than the beginner-friendly layouts.

Named for Japan’s celebrated cherry blossom trees, Motorland Sakura combines scenic detail with an “Expert” difficulty rating. Players may want to learn the easier circuits before attempting it, unless they are specifically looking for a tougher opening run.
The course’s expert classification is reflected in its frequent corners, with elevation changes adding another layer of difficulty as the track rises and falls through each section.
Several bends provide views of Mount Fuji, giving the circuit a strong Japanese setting beyond its racing layout.
A concert venue also appears beside the road, adding a contemporary landmark to the otherwise traditional surroundings.
Cherry trees are spread throughout the route, alongside older Japanese shrines, temples and architectural details.

A strong starting line-up
