Where to find your The Duskbloods result

FromSoftware opened applications for The Duskbloods network test at the end of July. If you registered, do not rely on your inbox for the result. Selection information is available through the registration website instead.

Visit the website you signed up on, open the side menu and choose Account. Sign in again using your Nintendo Account. The page will then show one of two messages:

  • A blue message confirming that you were not selected.
  • A red message confirming that you were selected.

The red confirmation deliberately echoes FromSoftware’s familiar “YOU DIED” presentation. It is a fitting joke for a game that may be expected to punish players during the test.

Network test dates and access codes

Codes are scheduled to be distributed through the same website from 18 August at 6:00 a.m. PDT. The network test will run across five four-hour sessions between Friday 21 August and Sunday 23 August.

For Australian participants, the listed PDT times will fall later in the day or overnight locally, so checking the time-zone conversion before each session is sensible. The supplied information does not specify the individual session times.

The Duskbloods

What to expect from The Duskbloods

Although The Duskbloods was revealed more than a year ago, details remain limited. Available information points to an eight-player PvPvE game, placing players in conflict with one another while also introducing threats controlled by the game.

It is a new intellectual property, but its Victorian Gothic visual style has prompted comparisons with Bloodborne. The multiplayer direction has also attracted criticism from some fans, particularly after FromSoftware’s decision to follow Elden Ring Nightreign with another title centred on online play.

The studio is best known for highly demanding, carefully designed single-player games, although several of those releases include co-operative features. The Duskbloods is planned as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive later this year, with no specific launch date announced.
