CoinOPS Light Gun HDD Arcade Build for Windows PC

Enjoy more than 200 arcade shooting games with this CoinOPS Light Gun HDD build for Windows PC. It includes tutorial videos and supports popular light gun systems such as Sinden, AimTrak, Gun4IR, ArcadeGun and AE Light Gun.

This drive is not completely plug-and-play. You must configure your light gun and complete the required Windows setup. Basic knowledge of PC gaming, emulation software and file management is recommended.

Setup Information

Use the correct x86 or x64 version of 7-Zip to extract the files. Extract only the first .001 file to D:CoinOPS. For the arcade launcher fix, rename the mame folder to MAME inside the launchers.windows folder.

The drive or CoinOPS folder may need to be added as an exclusion in Windows Security because some required emulator files can be incorrectly detected and removed. Only change security settings if you understand the risks and trust the supplied files.

Light Gun Compatibility

Compatible with correctly configured Sinden, AimTrak, Gun4IR, ArcadeGun, AE Light Gun and other Windows-compatible light gun systems. Light guns are not included unless specifically selected or stated.

This hard drive is great, a lot of good games. It is not just plug in and its ready to play, some games do work immediately but there is some setup needed to be done on. The buyers end. The reviewer on here that stated the archive wouldn’t extract was probably trying to extract the contents of the zip files directly to the drive which won’t work because the drive is approx 500 gb. The zip files plus the extracted content is about 550 gb(140 gb 7z-extracted is 409gb) you have to copy or extract to a different drive first then copy the extracted content over to the 2.5 hdd after deleting the zips, makes backups of course. Once extracted just explore the folders and read the readme files, they tell you how to get everything working! Right click-open with-notepad,wordpad etc. If you’re not to computer tech savvy and want something that’s just plug and play this drive might not be for you. It works fine once you set it up. Five stars
