Phantom Breaker Omnia is coming to arcades as a premium fighting-game kit for the exA-Arcadia multi-game system. The 2.5D fighter brings its anime-styled cast and console features to operators worldwide, with pre-orders now open.
Phantom Breaker: From Consoles to Arcades
The Phantom Breaker series began on consoles in 2011 before receiving an arcade version for Sega’s RingEdge 2 platform in 2013. A console-only sequel followed in 2013, while Omnia arrived on current-generation consoles in 2022.
Before Omnia, the series was available only in Japan. The latest game expanded its reach beyond that market, and the new arcade release now gives operators in other regions the opportunity to add it to their line-ups.
The game centres on a predominantly female cast of anime-inspired fighters. Each character is drawn into combat as the mysterious Phantom provokes them into a series of duels.
What the exA-Arcadia Edition Adds
Announced the previous year, this arcade edition of Omnia is supplied as a kit for the exA-Arcadia multi-game platform. Existing exA board owners can order the software kit from exA in some cases, or through an authorised exA distributor.
The listed price is approximately US$1,275, placing it in the same general range as the recent Omen of Sorrow fighting-game release. Distributor purchases can include artwork suited to the operator’s cabinet model, whereas direct orders include the Japanese set.
Pre-orders are open, with shipping scheduled to begin the following week, making the release officially a July launch. The kit is not Japan-exclusive: arcades anywhere can purchase it if they choose to add the game to their selection.
